HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, chairs, in Rabat, a luncheon offered by HM King Mohammed VI in honor of foreign guests at the ceremony to celebrate Earth and Sustainable Development Day.
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Moulay Rachid and Princess Lalla Hasnaa, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, preside, in Rabat, over the ceremony to celebrate Earth and Sustainable Development Day.
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Moulay Rachid and Princess Lalla Hasnaa chair, on this occasion, the signing ceremony of five agreements in the field of the protection of the environment.
The agreements include a partnership agreement to generalize the eco-schools programme, in addition to three agreements on the progressive elimination of the use of plastic bags, the promotion of substitute products and the production of clean energy from waste gas in Oulja area.

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, presides over the official inauguration ceremony of the ecological space in the esplanade of the Oudayas in Rabat, on the occasion of the Earth Day celebrations.
On this occasion, HRH awards the Earth Day prizes to several NGOs and enterprises.
Thus, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa hands the Citizens' Action trophy to the Association of Teachers of life and earth science, represented by its chairman Mr. Abderrahim Ksiri.
The Sustainable Action trophy is handed to Al Jisr Association, represented by its chairman, Mr. M'hammed Abbad Andaloussi, the proximity Action trophy to the Friends of palm, development and the fight against poverty Association, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Khalil Nouhi.
As for the trophy of Citizen Action, it goes to the Regional Union CGEM-Meknes, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Larbi Lahraichi, while the Integrated Action trophy is awarded to Al-Omran Tamesna, represented by its CEO, Mrs. Lamia Kadiri, and the trophy of supporting associations’ Action to Shell company, represented by its CEO, Mr. Mohamed Raihani.
Her Royal Highness was then greeted by the trophies’ designer, Mr. Hicham Lahlou.

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, presides, in Tangier, over the inauguration of the 14th international books and arts fair.
After visiting the different fair’s stalls, HRH attends a show to raise awareness of environmental protection. This show is designed especially for this event by artist Cartonutti to show the importance of environmental preservation.
On this occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa receives a book entitled “Tanger, réalités d''un mythe” (Tangier, Realities of a Myth), presented by the Tangier, region, cultural action Association, co-organiser of the fair with the Tangier-Tetouan French Institute.
