The green flag label award: Primary schools winners of the 2010-2011 edition
Within the framework of its program Eco-Ecoles, the FM6E organized award giving ceremony for several schools throughout the Kingdom:
• on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at schools “Ibn Zidoune », « Ibn Khaldoune », « Abou Alkacem Achabi » and « Lalla Malika » of Casablanca academy,
• On Wednesday, Decembre 14th, 2011 at the school " Oued El Makhazine " of Nador,
• on Tuesday, December 27th, 2011 at schools " Ibn Bassam " and "Chouhada" of the delegation of Khémisset,
• on Thursday, December 29th, 2011 at the school " Al Fquih abou Bakr ZNIBER " of Salé delegation, " Massira2 ", Adakhla ", Amrou LASRIRI ", "Bir Anzarane", in " 19 Mai " and " Tarek ibn Ziyad " which belong to the regional academy of education and training of Guelmim Smara,
• on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at the school " Bab Riafa Bnine " of Fes delegation,
• and on Friday, January 6th, 2012 at the school " Aït Chouaïb " of Azilal delegation.
The investment and the efforts put by all the academy directors, regional and provincial delegates, schools directors, teachers, coordinators and especially 5 000 pupils were rewarded.
Indeed, they knew how to appropriate this ecological project and to create a real dynamics within their schools by putting the environmental education in the heart of every taught discipline, essentially for the themes of the program Eco-Ecoles, namely, the consumption of water and energy, waste management, biodiversity and finally food supply.
The students realized the impact of their behavior on the environment and were thus able to capitalize on the values and the new adopted environmental practices. Their civic attitude made of their schools a model to follow.
Certificates of merit were also awarded to the schools registered in the program Eco-Ecoles to encourage their continued efforts.
Two new schools of Dakhla delegation, «Mohammed V " and "Al Irfane" are going to join the same initiative, on Friday, January 13th, 2012.
