July 28,2016 : The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection in partnership with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises organizes training in the use of assessment tool (GHG) for companies signatories of the Qualit’Air Agreement.

July 28,2016 : The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection in partnership with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises organizes training in the use of assessment tool (GHG) for companies signatories of the Qualit’Air Agreement.

 

This training is based on two tools developed by the Foundation in accordance with ISO 14069:

-Exploitation of the Carbon Database, which lists more than 300 gas emission factors for greenhouse adapted to the Moroccan context;

-Using the tool for calculating the carbon balance for estimating GHG emissions of an organization or territory.

For recall, the Qualit’Air Agreement signed on 11 February 2016, commits signatory companies on a proactive approach to:

• Evaluate greenhouse gas emissions effects caused by its activity, by recourse to the GHG Assessment tool developed by the Foundation;

• Reducing emissions of greenhouse gas by adoption and implementation of streamlining actions and optimization of the use of cleaner resources and production;

• To offset its emissions of greenhouse irreducible;

• Communicate, share and disseminate good practices and experience feedback;

• Educate employees, customers, suppliers …

• Encouraging partners to perform actions for the climate.
