June 6,2017 : Clean Beaches Program – Lifeguard training

This year, 1,718 lifeguards participated in this 7th training cycle. The training aims to teach communication and behavior skills to improve lifeguard qualifications. They will begin their work postings as part of the 18th clean Beaches season managed by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection.

The Foundation and its partners are working to professionalize the lifeguard profession in order to enhance the safety of summer beach visitors.

This training initiative is part of a partnership established in 2008 between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa and ANAPEC, for the development and promotion of environment-related jobs. This partnership makes it possible to identify, structure and position environmental profiles for socio-economic development.
