HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS LALLA HASNAA, CHAIRPERSON OF THE FONDATION MOHAMMED VI POUR LA PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONMENT, AT THE DAR EL ESSALAM HASSANIA SCHOOL IN RABAT LAUNCHES THE “ECO-SCHOOLS” PROGRAM FOR 2008-2009.

 

ON THE SAME OCCASION, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS CHAIRS THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE FOLLOW-UP COMMITTEE OF THIS PROGRAM, CONSISTING OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AND STUDENT PARENTS.

 

DURING HER VISIT TO THE ENVIRONMENT CLUB, AN EXPLANATION WAS GIVEN TO

HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS LALLA HASNAA ON THE VARIOUS MEASURES ACHIEVED FOR SORTING OUT AND RECYCLING OF SCHOOL WASTE, THE DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR PLANTS BY RECOVERY OF RAIN WATER AND THE VARIOUS STAGES OF THE WATER CYCLE.

 

ON THIS OCCASION, THE PARTNERS OF THE “ECO-SCHOOLS” PROGRAM WERE INTRODUCED TO HER ROYAL HIGHNESS.

 

THE MEMBERS OF THE JURY OF THE NATIONAL PROGRAM, INCLUDING MR. CHAKIB NOURI, OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT, MR. MOHAMMADIN ISMAIL, OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, MS. BOUCHRA FARIAT OF THE HIGH COMMISSARIAT FOR WATER AND FOREST AND THE FIGHT AGAINST DESERTIFICATION, MR. ABDELAZIZ TAHIRI, OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICITY BOARD, MR. BELABBES BELMAMOUN AND MRS. LAILA LARAKI OF THE NATIONAL DRINKING WATER BOARD. AS WELL AS MR. MOHAMED BELGHOUATE AND MR. MUSTAPHA BRAKE, CONSULTANTS, WERE ALSO INTRODUCED TO HER ROYAL HIGHNESS.
